La LIBRAIRIE EPHEMERE Soon for the fifth consecutive year, the Neuilly Community of Paris, France invited Keren Yeladim Shelanu at Schneider Children’s Medical Center to participate in "La LIBRAIRIE" EPHEMERE".
In this magnificent event, which will take place on January 20, 2008, French, Israeli and other international authors, sell their books to the members of the community. Most of the authors attend the event in person adding to the excitement and interest of the event. Part of the consideration from the sale is donated to Keren Yeladim Shelanu Foundation.
Tal Danon Shenhav, the legal advisor of Keren Yeladim Shelanu, who represented the Foundation last year: "The event was a magical one and reinforced the strong connections between Neuilly Community of Paris and Yeladim Shelanu. Mrs. Monik Kern, who is chairing this event, has done an extraordinary work. We hope that other communities worldwide will follow the inspiring example of the Neuilly Community."

Visit of Dr.Patch Adams and Dr.Bowen White As part of the 10 anniversary of the "Starlight" center, and as part of Yeladim Shelanu's mission to bring a smile to the face of all the children hospitalized at SCMCI and in order to enrich the doctors, nurses and support staff, the foundation brought Dr. Patch Adams and Dr. Bowen White to Israel. These world renowned doctors visited the patients in SCMCI center as well as conducted a series of conferences, lectures and seminars throughout Tel Aviv, including special workshops especially for doctors and paramedical personnel who arrived from all over Israel. The visit was a great success and was covered intensely by the media. The participants who took part in this project were greatly enriched by the experience. We take this opportunity to thank Iris Langer, The Founding Chairman of "Yeladim Shelanu" foundation for the initiative and coordination of this wonderful project.

Purim Ball For the first time "Yeladim Shelanu" foundation and "Lions of Judah" joined together in a mutual event- Purim Ball. The event was curried out on the 18/2/07 in ORO Tel-Aviv. The guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, which was made by 7 of the best chefs in Israel. After the gourmet dinner there was a dance routine by Ido Tadmor and Rona Li, A fashion show by Shai Tubol and a concert by Zvika Pick. All the income from the event was donated for the benefit of the patients in Schneider Children's Medical
Center of Israel and to give a better chance for girls in distress.
We would like to thank Mrs. Iris Shimonov and Mrs. Miri Azouri for making this event such a success.

Function at the Hechal Hatarbut in aid of the special BURN UNIT "Yeladim shelanu" sponsored an evening at the "Hechal Hatarbut" in Tel Aviv the invitees being mainly from the ultra orthodox community. This community is renowed for its generosity and commitment to charitable causes.
Avram Fried accompanied by Moshe Hanter and his archestra , was the highlight of the evening and was joined by the brilliant young singer Elishema Aricha.

Fashion show for A Pediatric Burn Unit in Israel On 6th may 2001, the “Yeladim Shelanu” foundation held a fashion show, at “Havat Ronit”, Gaash. The income was dedicated to equip a new burn unit, which will be designated for children and their special needs. Saving them from unnecessary pain, and easing their rehabilitation. At the fashion Show,
Produced by Motti Reif and hosted by Sigal Shachmon, the Spring – Summer collections of Israel’s best designers – Shai Shalom, Gershon Bram, Tovale, by Naama and Yaron Minkovski – were shown. Many guests came to support the children, and the long – standing dream of building a Burn Unit. In addition to the fashion show, a cocktail party was held in the garden as well as a quiet auction of items donated by various companies, the proceeds of which were donated to the foundation.

Gala Event 2002 For the first time “Yeladim Shelanu” Foundation and MICHA –Tel Aviv, are joining forces for the benefit of the children of Israel. The special Gala event featuring Rita, one of Israel’s leading entertainers and other well-known entertainers such as Shlomo Grunih with the Shva choir and Pablo Rozenberg. The event will take place on Sunday, October 20th 2002, at the Tel – Aviv Performing Arts Center.
Proceeds from this special performance will help “Yeladim Shelanu” fund the activities for the hospitalized children and will also help MICHA Tel-Aviv advance the rehabilitation programs for hearing-impaired babies and children and their families at

Volunteer Day 2001 Every year the “Yeladim Shelanu” foundation shows its appreciation of the dedicated work of its volunteers approximately 400 people, and this time a special evening was held on June 17th, 2001. At this event, the volunteers of long standing, who have given of their time and energy over the past eight years, were honored at a ceremony at which they were presented with “Volunteer Year” brooches. The volunteers coordinator’ Mrs. Ruth Shwartz, hosted the evening, and other speakers included: Mrs. Dalia Ohayun, wife of Mayor of Petach Tikva, Dr. Itamar Shalit, director of schneider medical center and Mrs. Iris Langer, Chair-woman of the foundation. Samir Shukri and his band, who performed voluntarily (and not for the first time!), gave song “Shirei Eretz Israel” to an enthusiastic audience.
